LeoVegas Group, a major player in mobile gaming and sports betting and part of MGM Resorts International, is deepening its UK roots with the launch of a new office in Leeds. This expansion supports the company’s broader growth strategy and bolsters its talent acquisition efforts across the North of England.
Prime Location in the Heart of Leeds
The new workspace will be housed in the recently refurbished Tailor’s Corner, a prominent building located at the intersection of Wellington Street and Thirsk Row. Spanning over 5,000 square feet, the modern office is tailored for hybrid work models, featuring open collaboration zones, breakout areas, and high-tech meeting rooms designed to foster creativity and teamwork.
Complementing the Newcastle Hub
This new Leeds office complements LeoVegas’ existing base in Newcastle, which has been operational since 2018. By establishing a second Northern office, the company is strategically tapping into Leeds’ dynamic digital and tech ecosystem—widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading innovation clusters.
Accelerating Brand Growth
Gethin Evans, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, emphasized the importance of this move:
“Leeds offers incredible energy and access to top-tier talent. Our new location will help accelerate our UK growth, particularly for our hero brands, BetMGM and LeoVegas.”
Recruitment and Expansion Plans
LeoVegas Group is actively hiring across departments such as sports operations, finance, and legal. The Leeds team will also play a key role in supporting growth across new European markets, including recent BetMGM launches in Sweden and the Netherlands.
A Long-Term Investment in UK iGaming
The Leeds expansion is more than a new office—it’s a statement of LeoVegas Group’s long-term commitment to the UK market. As the iGaming landscape evolves, this move positions the company to stay ahead of the curve in innovation, talent, and market presence.
