New 24/7 numbers channel combines twice-daily 49s draws with high-frequency 39s games as Kiron targets growing demand for low-stakes, high-turnover products across Africa
Kiron Interactive has launched UK Numbers, a dedicated lotto-draw television channel developed specifically for African markets, as the gaming technology provider looks to expand its numbers-game offering across the continent.
The new channel is designed to provide operators and players with continuous access to numbers-based gaming products, combining established formats with a newer, high-frequency draw designed to generate more betting opportunities throughout the day.
Kiron has developed the channel around the preferences and playing behaviours it has observed across African markets, where low-stakes and frequent gaming products have gained traction.
24/7 Channel Targets African Players
UK Numbers has been structured as a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week channel, allowing operators to provide numbers content throughout the day rather than relying exclusively on scheduled lottery events.
The offering features two main products: the established 49s and the newer 39s.
The combination gives operators access to different draw frequencies and formats while providing players with more opportunities to participate in numbers-based games.
Kiron’s decision to develop a dedicated African channel reflects the company’s broader strategy of adapting its products to local market conditions rather than applying a single approach across different jurisdictions.
49s Brings Established Format to the Channel
One of the central products within UK Numbers is 49s, a numbers game that has been popular for more than two decades.
The product features two live draws each day, presented by a team of broadcasters. Players select six numbers from a pool of 49, with the format designed to provide the possibility of significant payouts from relatively modest stakes.
The established nature of 49s gives the new channel a product with an existing track record among numbers-game audiences.
Its straightforward format also makes it relatively easy for players to understand and participate in, supporting its potential appeal across different African markets.
39s Adds High-Frequency Draws
Alongside 49s, Kiron has introduced 39s, a newer and considerably more frequent numbers product.
The 39s format provides a draw every three minutes, 24 hours a day, creating substantially more opportunities for players to participate.
The high-frequency model is designed to support continuous engagement while giving operators a product that can generate activity throughout the day.
According to Kiron, the product has been engineered around demand for frequent numbers games and the growing popularity of low-stakes, high-turnover gaming across Africa.
Responding to Local Market Demand
Kiron’s launch comes as gaming operators across Africa increasingly look for products that can complement traditional sports betting.
While football and other live sports remain important drivers of betting activity, numbers products can provide an alternative form of entertainment when sporting events are unavailable.
High-frequency games such as 39s can also provide operators with continuous content during periods when major sporting competitions are not taking place.
This makes products such as UK Numbers potentially valuable as part of a broader gaming portfolio.
Kiron Builds on African Experience
Kiron already has an established presence in African gaming markets, with its wider product portfolio including virtual sports, numbers games and lightweight gaming products designed for different connectivity environments.
In 2026, for example, the company expanded its Kiron.Lite Virtual League across several African markets, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Zambia, Nigeria, Ghana and Benin. The rollout demonstrated Kiron’s continued focus on developing products suited to mobile-first and bandwidth-constrained environments.
The UK Numbers launch follows the same broader strategy of creating products that reflect the needs of African operators and players.
Opportunity for Operators
For betting and gaming operators, the new channel offers an opportunity to add numbers-based entertainment to their existing product portfolios.
The combination of twice-daily 49s draws and three-minute 39s draws provides different engagement models within a single channel.
Operators can therefore offer players both a more traditional live-draw experience and a faster, high-frequency alternative.
The 24/7 availability also means the content can remain active outside peak sports schedules, potentially helping operators maintain engagement throughout the day.
Steven Spartinos Highlights Expansion
Steven Spartinos, Co-CEO of Kiron Interactive, described the launch as an opportunity to provide African lottery enthusiasts with numbers products that align with their preferences.
He highlighted the twice-daily 49s format alongside the new 39s product, which delivers draws every three minutes.
Spartinos also pointed to Kiron’s experience with 24/7 numbers products in other markets, expressing confidence that the model can achieve strong results in Africa.
Strengthening Kiron’s African Portfolio
The launch of UK Numbers represents another step in Kiron’s strategy to strengthen its position within Africa’s expanding gaming industry.
By combining an established numbers product with a high-frequency alternative, the company is offering operators greater flexibility while responding to demand for accessible and continuous gaming content.
The development also highlights the increasing importance of localisation within Africa’s diverse gaming markets. Player preferences, connectivity, betting behaviour and product demand can differ considerably from one country to another, making market-specific offerings increasingly important.
With UK Numbers, Kiron is seeking to build on its existing African footprint by delivering a dedicated numbers channel designed around these market dynamics.
The launch ultimately gives African operators another option for diversifying their gaming portfolios while providing players with access to both established and high-frequency numbers products.
