Record-breaking Quarter Driven by Flagship Property
Full House Resorts has reported a 73% year-on-year increase in Q1 2025 revenue, reaching $69.9 million, up from $40.4 million in Q1 2024. The surge is largely attributed to the stellar performance of The Temporary by American Place in Waukegan, Illinois, which posted its best-ever monthly revenue in March since opening in February 2023.
The Temporary by American Place Fuels Growth
The Waukegan-based casino, operating as a temporary facility while construction of the permanent American Place resort continues, has quickly become a key revenue driver. According to Full House Resorts CEO Daniel R. Lee, the property generated $24.9 million in revenue for the quarter, supported by steady footfall and growing customer loyalty.
The Illinois Gaming Board’s latest report places The Temporary among the top-grossing casinos in the state, underscoring its strategic location and robust gaming mix, which includes nearly 1,000 slot machines and 50 table games.
Diversified Portfolio Delivers Consistency
Beyond Illinois, Full House’s properties in Colorado, Mississippi, and Nevada all reported year-on-year gains, albeit at more modest rates. The company highlighted the continued strength of its Silver Slipper Casino Hotel in Mississippi and Bronco Billy’s Casino in Colorado, both benefiting from local market stability and improved operating efficiencies.
Outlook: Permanent American Place and Expansion Plans
Looking ahead, Full House expects further upside as construction accelerates on the permanent American Place property, slated for completion in late 2025. The full-scale resort will include a luxury hotel, upscale dining, and expanded gaming floors, expected to significantly boost long-term earnings.
Analysts at Union Gaming note that Full House’s asset diversification and Illinois foothold position it for “steady, sustainable growth” over the next 24 months.
