Collaboration returns for a second consecutive year as gaming supplier strengthens its brand presence at Africa’s premier horse racing and lifestyle event
Booming Games has renewed its activation partnership with Hollywoodbets for the 2026 Hollywoodbets Durban July, reaffirming its commitment to engaging African gaming audiences through one of the continent’s most prestigious sporting and entertainment events. The collaboration marks the second consecutive year that the two companies have joined forces to deliver interactive experiences during South Africa’s iconic horse racing festival.
Held annually at the Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse in Durban, the Hollywoodbets Durban July has evolved into far more than a horse racing event. It has become one of Africa’s largest lifestyle occasions, attracting thousands of spectators, celebrities, fashion enthusiasts, corporate partners, and sports fans from across the region.
By extending the partnership, both companies aim to combine premium entertainment with customer engagement while strengthening their presence in the fast-growing African gaming market.
Interactive Experiences for Racegoers
As part of the renewed collaboration, Booming Games and Hollywoodbets will once again host a joint activation stand throughout the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore Booming Games’ latest portfolio of slot titles through interactive demonstrations while participating in a range of promotional activities designed to enhance the overall event experience.
Attendees will also have the chance to win exclusive prizes and engage directly with representatives from both companies, creating an environment that blends digital gaming innovation with one of Africa’s most celebrated sporting occasions.
The activation reflects the growing importance of experiential marketing within the gaming industry, where suppliers are increasingly looking beyond traditional advertising to connect with customers through live events and immersive brand experiences.
Celebrating More Than Horse Racing
The Hollywoodbets Durban July has established itself as one of South Africa’s most anticipated annual events, bringing together sport, entertainment, fashion, music, and hospitality in a unique celebration of culture and community.
For Booming Games, participation in the event represents an opportunity to engage with a diverse audience beyond the traditional gaming sector. Company executives believe the festival’s broad appeal makes it an ideal platform for showcasing innovative gaming products while strengthening relationships with operators, partners, and players.
The partnership also highlights the growing intersection between sports, entertainment, and digital gaming as companies seek new ways to build brand awareness in highly competitive markets.
Commitment to African Market Growth
Booming Games continues to expand its footprint across Africa by partnering with leading operators and participating in major regional events. The company has identified the continent as a key strategic market, driven by increasing internet penetration, mobile gaming adoption, and the continued development of regulated gaming markets.
Executives have emphasized that renewing the partnership with Hollywoodbets aligns with the company’s long-term vision of supporting local entertainment while delivering high-quality gaming experiences to African audiences.
Hollywoodbets, one of Africa’s leading betting operators, has also welcomed the continuation of the collaboration, highlighting Booming Games’ innovative content and its contribution to enhancing customer engagement during one of the company’s flagship annual events.
Strengthening Industry Collaboration
The renewed activation demonstrates how partnerships between operators and gaming suppliers are evolving beyond commercial agreements to include joint marketing initiatives and customer-focused experiences. Such collaborations allow both parties to strengthen brand visibility while providing added value for event attendees.
Industry observers note that experiential activations have become an increasingly important component of gaming companies’ marketing strategies, particularly in emerging markets where direct customer interaction helps build trust and brand recognition.
Events like the Hollywoodbets Durban July provide a valuable opportunity for suppliers to showcase new products, gather customer feedback, and reinforce relationships with existing business partners in an informal setting.
Looking Ahead
The renewal of the partnership between Booming Games and Hollywoodbets reinforces both companies’ commitment to innovation, entertainment, and long-term investment in the African gaming industry. By returning to the Hollywoodbets Durban July for a second consecutive year, the companies are continuing to leverage one of the continent’s largest sporting and cultural events as a platform for customer engagement and brand growth.
As Africa’s gaming sector continues to expand, strategic collaborations of this nature are expected to play an increasingly important role in connecting technology providers, operators, and consumers. The 2026 Hollywoodbets Durban July offers another opportunity for Booming Games and Hollywoodbets to demonstrate how live entertainment, gaming innovation, and community engagement can come together to create memorable experiences for audiences across the region.
