Building a Global HR Infrastructure from the Ground Up
After more than three impactful years, Stella Voulgaraki has stepped down as Chief People Officer (CPO) of Kaizen Gaming, marking the end of a pivotal chapter for the company’s internal growth. Her departure comes as Kaizen continues to evolve into a global iGaming powerhouse, with a strong HR foundation now firmly in place.
In a heartfelt LinkedIn farewell, Voulgaraki reflected on the challenges and accomplishments of her tenure, noting that her time at Kaizen was “transformative” both personally and professionally. She was instrumental in designing and scaling the company’s global HR function, aligned with Kaizen’s rapid international expansion across Europe and Latin America.
Her leadership focused on building a people-centric culture, rooted in agility, diversity, and performance. Voulgaraki highlighted collaboration with an “extraordinary HR team” and praised Kaizen’s CEO, George Daskalakis, for entrusting her with shaping the company’s talent strategy from scratch.
Strategic Investments in Talent Development
Voulgaraki’s exit coincides with Kaizen Gaming’s increased focus on nurturing new talent and building the next generation of leaders in the gaming industry.
This year, the company launched “The Playmakers: Commercial Talent Programme”, a new initiative aimed at training future iGaming professionals through hands-on experience, mentorship from senior leaders, and rotational placements across key international markets, including Europe and South America.
The programme reflects Kaizen’s broader commitment to talent investment, with emphasis on adaptability, cross-cultural learning, and leadership development.
Expanding Social Impact Through the Kaizen Foundation
Parallel to its HR and talent initiatives, Kaizen Gaming has also advanced its corporate social responsibility through the Kaizen Foundation. In 2025, the company renewed its partnership with the UEFA Foundation for Children, helping to fund inclusive sporting events such as amputee football matches, and initiatives focused on empowering girls and women in sports.
These efforts are aligned with Kaizen’s broader vision of creating positive social impact and promoting inclusivity within and beyond the gaming industry.
Looking Ahead: A New Chapter for Kaizen’s People Strategy
With Stella Voulgaraki’s departure, Kaizen faces the opportunity to evolve its HR leadership while building on her legacy. The next Chief People Officer will inherit a globally integrated HR structure and a company deeply committed to talent, culture, and social value.
As Kaizen continues to grow, expanding its reach and influence in the global gaming sector, its investments in people and community will remain central to its identity. Voulgaraki’s tenure not only helped set the foundation—but defined the company’s modern, human-first approach to leadership.
