Exclusive Agreement Cements Tipico as Partner Across All German Pro Football Competitions
Leading sports betting provider Tipico has deepened its ties with German football through a new three-year agreement with the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB), becoming the official partner of the 3. Liga starting from the 2025/26 season. The deal, announced jointly by Tipico and the DFB, will extend through the 2027/28 season and makes Tipico the only brand partnered with all professional football leagues and competitions in Germany.
The agreement covers central advertising rights across the 3. Liga, including branded sleeve sponsorships, perimeter ads during broadcasts, and digital assets for use across league media platforms. The revenue generated from the deal will be distributed annually to all 20 clubs in the 3. Liga, providing much-needed financial support to teams often operating on tighter budgets than their Bundesliga counterparts.
Expanding a Comprehensive Football Portfolio
Tipico already holds long-standing partnerships with the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, and both the men’s and women’s DFB Cup competitions. With the 3. Liga partnership now in place, Tipico becomes the only sports betting brand with official links to every tier of professional football in Germany.
