Slot portfolio to launch across Germany, Greece, Spain and Sweden as studio strengthens presence in regulated jurisdictions
Game developer Peter & Sons has entered into a new content partnership with Interwetten, marking another step in the studio’s ongoing expansion across regulated European gambling markets. Under the agreement, a selection of Peter & Sons’ slot titles will be made available to Interwetten players in several key jurisdictions, with the initial rollout covering Germany, Greece, Spain and Sweden. Additional markets may be added at a later stage, subject to regulatory approval.
As part of the integration, Interwetten will incorporate a curated range of Peter & Sons’ games into its online casino offering. The Barcelona-based studio is known for its distinctive visual style and narrative-driven slot mechanics, and its catalogue includes established titles such as Barbarossa, Xibalba, Wild 1 and Voodoo Hex. More recent releases, including Zombie Road, Bubblegum and Robbo, will also form part of the launch, providing Interwetten players with access to both proven performers and newer content.
Founded in 2019, Peter & Sons has built a strong reputation within a relatively short period, steadily expanding its presence across regulated markets. The studio now holds licences in more than 15 jurisdictions worldwide and distributes its content via several major aggregation platforms, enabling it to scale efficiently across Europe and other regions while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Interwetten, meanwhile, is one of the industry’s longest-standing operators. Established in 1990, the company entered the online sports betting market as early as 1997, positioning itself as a pioneer in digital wagering. Today, Interwetten operates in more than 200 countries, supports ten languages and maintains a particularly strong presence in German-speaking territories and southern Europe. Its portfolio spans sports betting, online casino and related gaming verticals.
Commenting on the agreement, Yann Bautista, Commercial Director and Founder of Peter & Sons, described Interwetten as a natural strategic partner. He highlighted the operator’s long-standing reputation and its ability to innovate while maintaining a strong foothold in regulated markets. Bautista added that the partnership aligns with Peter & Sons’ ambition to reach new audiences with its creative and differentiated content.
Mario Bilic, Director of Products at Interwetten, said the operator has long admired Peter & Sons’ approach to game development, noting that the studio’s focus on originality and quality fits well with Interwetten’s casino strategy.
The deal forms part of Peter & Sons’ broader European growth programme, which has prioritised visibility in regulated markets through a combination of direct operator agreements and aggregation partnerships. In October 2025, the studio launched its portfolio with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino and MomangCasino in Sweden, following earlier expansions into Denmark via Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform, as well as previous launches in the UK and Canada.
