KSA’s Crackdown on Illegal Gambling
Under the Remote Gambling Act (KOA), which came into force in October 2021, all online gambling providers must obtain a Dutch license to operate legally. The KSA has been aggressively enforcing this rule, targeting unlicensed platforms that continue offering services to Dutch players.
Gamusoft’s Alleged Violations
The KSA claims that Gamusoft has been running illegal gambling activities without proper authorization. The regulator has now issued a cease-and-desist order, giving the company a final chance to exit the Dutch market before facing severe financial consequences.
